![]() One of Sakura’s elementary school friends named Rika has a crush on their teacher, Mr. One of CLAMP’s most prevalent themes is “Love is love, regardless of anything.” CLAMP believes that when it comes to True Love, (age, gender, religion, incest, etc. Not to mention, some of their morals are seriously messed up. At times, the characters don’t talk like real people they just spout lengthy ideologies that sound more like quotes from philosophy essays. It waxes philosophical about heavy topics like love and loss. The series tries to combine moral discussions that would go over a lot of younger kids’ heads with a child friendly storyline. But CCS isn’t made just for vapid kids entertainment. Like, I don’t have a problem with caricature like characters in kiddie shows like Teletubbies, Barbie Movies, or freakin Caillou. In a lot of children’s shows this isn’t really an issue. She never feels like a real person, just a glorified dress up doll (like a Barbie). Everyone in the series ends up liking her or grudgingly accepting her. She has no flaws, no real negative traits to her. These are all good personality traits to have but the issue is that she’s always this perfect character. ![]() She’s still kind, friendly, ditzy, and determined. Despite everything that happens to her, she’s still pretty much the same Sakura at the end of the series as she was in the beginning. Its that she never seems to grow or change at all. However, her personality doesn’t automatically make her a bad character. Sakura is supposed to be this cute, ditzy character who is kind and a little naive. I don’t like how Sakura is such a one-dimensional Mary Sue and I also think that the story overall is pretty weak. And the more I thought about it the more I realized that this series wasn't as good as my rose-tinted memories thought it was. I liked her design and her outfits and her wand and magic but I actually dislike her as a character. And I realized, I never really like Sakura. Recently when talking with one of my friends who also watched and read CCS in her childhood and we were talking about the series (because of the new Clear Card anime). I also watched and read Tsubasa chronicles (and many other CLAMP works) and I also thought it was ok. ![]() I read and watched this series when I was in 5th or 6th grade and I thought it was ok. always there for them whenever they needed him.Basically the title. My man cares about all of his students despite all of his trauma, depression and being barley able to hold himself together, he was always. Not only that, he even supported and defended her and tried to explain her feelings to Sasuke. ![]() He also believed in her the same way he believed in Naruto and predicted that one day she'll surpass Tsunade. And we've never really seen any of the other Sensei's training their students either, that still doesn't mean they never trained them, come on now. Just because they were in a time skip off screen, it doesn't mean it didn't happen! Boruto and Himawari's birth happened during a time skip too, does that mean that they appear out of thin air and Hinata never really gave birth to them?. Kakashi only spent one year training team 7, this year was divided between missions and training, and we've only seen so little of it while most of it was in time skip but it was implied and even literally stated by Kishimoto in the databook that he did train all 3 of them in this year, specifically stating that the 3 of them learned so much from Kakashi during this year. " oh but he never taught Sakura anything tho" really? Then what was that? □ Since several people in my previous post were like "yeah, he cared about Naruto but he never cared about Sakura tho"Īlso can we appreciate Kakashi's incredible speed here? when when the Hyuga clan were having a hard time dodging these things, Kakashi just grabbed Sakura away from it with such ease.Īnd even without the sharingan, his speed was still incredible enough to save himself, Sakura and Obito here while falling into Kaguya's lava dimension, and not just the speed of his body but also his thinking, to be able to come up with a plan to tie a kunai to a scroll and hook it to the edge, catching Sakura while throwing another kunai to pin Obito to the wall and save the 3 of them all in less than a second.
